General Directorate of Turkish Coal Enterprises is a public institution that produces lignite under the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources. TKİ, the largest lignite producer in Turkey, increases the amount of organic matter in agricultural soils and reduces the use of chemical fertilizers thanks to the high quality leonardite found in its mining sites. Our institution produces TKİ-Hümas branded liquid humic acid, which is an organic soil conditioner, using Leonardite in its own fields.
