The ProSamplemaks grain (truck) sampler is designed to collect a representative sample of grains such as wheat, barley, rice, rye, corn, beans and chickpeas from any open-top vehicle. The telescopic arm mounted on a fixed pillar can move forward-backward, up-down and left-right circularly, thanks to the hydraulic system. Depending on the turbine power, it carries grains to the laboratory from a distance of up to 50 meters in as little as 10 seconds.
The Proglutomaks device is used to determine the amount of wet gluten. In gluten washing analysis, grain flour is washed with %2 salt water to separate the starch and gluten. The amount of wet gluten resulting from the washing process is the most important parameter of the bread quality of the flour. Proglutomaks has a capacity of two samples and two washing cells. Once the samples are placed in the device, all processes occur automatically. The design of the device was renewed by our engineers in 2017 and registered with the Turkish Patent Institute.
Gluten Index is a centrifugal device specially designed for the milling industry. In the device, which rotates at 6000 revolutions per minute, gluten is passed through a metal sieve and gluten quality is determined. Santrimaks has a capacity of two samples and saves personnel costs and time. The design of the device was renewed by our engineers in 2017 and registered with the Turkish Patent Institute.
Drymaks, a dry gluten device, is used to dry wet gluten. Wet gluten samples placed between two plates at 150 °C are dried for 4 minutes and the water absorption and dry gluten value of gluten are calculated. Drymaks has a capacity of two samples and saves personnel costs and time.
Dual enzymaks device is used to measure the alpha amylase enzyme activity of grain according to the falling number method. The device has a capacity of two tubes and allows parallel operation. In the falling number method, the tube in which flour and pure water are mixed is placed in a water bath at boiling temperature and mixed for 60 seconds with a specially designed metal rod. At the end of the time, the rod is released and the time it takes to reach the bottom of the tube is calculated. The design of the device was renewed by our engineers in 2017 and registered with the Turkish Patent Institute.
Starchmaks measures starch damage in flour samples with using the amperometry method. The device measures the amount of iodine absorbed by starch granules in a flour suspension diluted with special solution. More iodine absorbed means more damaged starch. The analysis takes approximately 10 minutes with a 1 g flour sample. The analysis results are reproducible and standardized measurements and also the results are in good agreement with the enzyme-based method results. Test results are expressed as % of iodine absorption in units AI, UCD, UCDc, AACC, FARRAND.
Sedimaks device provides information about the protein quality of the grain and sunn damage. In sedimentation analysis, flour is first mixed with bromine phenol solution and then with lactic acid solution in the device for five minutes. The mixing process takes place at a speed of 40 rpm with the tubes at a 30 degree angle. The analysis result is determined as the amount of sedimentation in the tube after five minutes of listening. The design of the device was renewed by our engineers in 2017 and registered with the Turkish Patent Institute.
The Hamermaks device, a laboratory-scale hammer mill, is used to grind products such as wheat, corn, rye, barley and pellets. It produces homogeneous samples of suitable quality for use in falling number (FN), gluten analysis and NIR analyses. The specially designed stainless hammer rotates at high speeds and turns the products into powder. Fine and homogeneous powders are separated from the air in a silicone container and collected in stainless steel sample containers.
Rolermaks, a laboratory type roller mill, is used to grind wheat. It produces homogeneous samples of suitable quality for use in sedimentation, falling number (FN), gluten analysis and NIR analyses. There are four roller mills in the grinding section of the device and a rotary sieve in the separation section. After the milling process, wheat flour and bran are separated with a sieve and collected in separate containers.
Furmaks model Muffle Furnace is used to determine the amount of non-burnable substance (inorganic). Near-perfect heat distribution and fast heating feature are provided with the heating elements placed on the sides of the ceramic cell of the device. By minimizing the outer surface temperature of the oven, a safe working area is provided for the user thanks to the necessary insulations and ventilation gap structure. There is a safety system and high temperature protection alarm that cuts off the electricity when the oven door is opened.
