In 2003, we initiated our agricultural banking activities following the acquisition of Tarişbank, a company with nearly a century of knowledge in the agricultural sector. We continue to operate as the leading private bank in agriculture. This leadership is not only a natural result of the innovative products we offer in the field of financing but also because of the advisory services we strive to provide to our producers in every aspect of production. Many of our field teams are either agricultural engineers or the children of local farming families. This enables us to consolidate all the regional differences in agricultural products into high-quality products and services for our farmers. Speaking the same language as farmers is a concept we value, and we find solutions that are produced without stepping on the ground while looking at agriculture from a distant perspective to be lacking. Just as seasons and climates in agriculture can vary greatly, the sector also experiences both good and bad times. We have never hesitated to support agriculture, even during challenging times, including recent difficulties due to fluctuations in exchange rates. We have stood by our farmers, even at the cost of financial loss, and this has set us apart in the eyes of our farmers. Digital transformation and technology integration are of great importance to us in agriculture. Taking into account the increasing use of the internet and social media, we launched the Deniz den Toprağa Facebook page in May 2015. Today, we provide real-time updates to over 100,000 followers through Facebook, answer questions, and evaluate comments. Our mobile application, which we launched in 2017 under the same name, has now been downloaded more than 130,000 times. Our application, which is a first in its field, provides online question asking for agricultural engineers, the latest exchange and commodity prices, and a module for calculating grants and support on a product basis. It continues to be regularly updated. Our farmers can easily access banking transactions through the application, and the development level of crops in a field with a location entered via satellite is presented to the farmers through the application. This allows for the compensation of any deficiencies in less developed areas, damaged areas, or areas affected by disease without further damage to the product. As DenizBank, we provide support not only to producers but also to every institution, individual, and organization that contributes to the agricultural sector. At the same time, we serve as a bridge between these institutions and organizations and our farmers. Through our Producer Card campaigns, we negotiate with institutions on behalf of farmers, ultimately creating structures where the cost is shared by us but the farmers benefit financially.
